Are you a hands-in-the-air worshipper, a quiet head-bowed worshipper, or a distracted worshipper? This word “worship” can bring up all kinds of discussion and disagreements about the how-tos and the do’s and don'ts, particularly when it comes to kids and worship experiences. Worship is the third piece of the Ministry Snapshot used in our Nurturing Faith Collective coaching. The purpose of this article’s discussion and our coaching approach is not to debate kids’ church versus kids in the worship service. The purpose is to look at worship from a clear perspective of “telling the next generation the praise-worthy deeds of the Lord” (Psalm 78:6).
